Brain bust!!

Oh wow!! I have never studied this hard in my entire life!!! The plus side is that it shows that for once I actually care about how I do. The down side, well, this morning I came up for air after being in my apartment studying pretty much since Friday evening (let’s not try to calculate those hours).
But basically, my entire weekend went like this:

FRI: Study, Eat, Study, Sleep
SAT: Study/Eat, Study, Study, Eat, Study, Study, Study, Sleep
SUN: Study/Eat, Study, Study, Study, Study, Study, Study, Study, Eat, Study, Study, Sleep

(Of course, the showers happened somewhere in there, but they barely registered on the radar.)

Below is a sample of the reading material I am doing for my exam on Thursday:

  • Economics and Culture
  • Globalization, Diaspora & Caribbean Popular Culture
  • Popular Music & Society
  • Cultural Theory and Popular Culture

And that doesn’t include the hundreds of photocopied pages from various other books and articles. Whew!!! I am exhausted!!

So what do I do when I need a break from all of that? Well, I either work on my final assignment for my other class or I read from the list below:

  • Securing Your Organization’s Future: A Complete Guide to Fundraising Strategies
  • Event Management and Event Tourism
  • Film Art: An Introduction

But let’s remember I am having fun, right?!? I am loving this, right?!?! There has got to be something seriously wrong with me (don’t all yell at once).

So I am off now to go do some ……… nope, research this time.

So till next time,
Live and love large (and study larger).

Well, let us not say I fitted in sleep. It was more like sleep leapt out and grabbed me so I collapse on a bed covered in books and papers.
