Living in a dream

Everytime I change my surroundings, i.e. move myself and belongings to another country, whether it be home or not, there is this sensation of being in a dream-like state for a while. It seems to take my brain a few days at least to register that I am in fact where I am. Woke up this morning, at home, in my own bed, and couldn’t register why it felt so different. I’m feeling as though I am still in Trinidad in body but my head just thinks I am home. Weird!
