Big news

New year off to a new start. As of Monday I will be working. :-D Whoohoo!! It’s a short-term contract from now till the end of March but it definitely a step in the right direction.

It’s in a non-IT area, working with an organization I wouldn’t mind knowing my name, even if they don’t need me permanently. I’ll be making some good contacts and getting some good experience. And of course, the money coming in will be a big help.

To answer the immediate question I will be essentially a project manager, managing 3 projects which happen to be events –> event management (one of the things I’ve been looking at). For the more curious, ask me your questions via another medium.
