365 days to change
Picked this one up over at Workhappy.net:
“Be mindful of the link between present action and desired future outcome. Ask yourself: if I repeat today’s actions 365 times, will I be where I want to be in a year?”
—Roz Savage (Rower, writer, speaker. Working to become the first solo woman to row across the Pacific Ocean from California to Australia)
This is a powerful way to think. Using this philosophy, you would quite likely eliminate several negative habits you currently have (think about 365 days of sitting watchin TV, or 365 days of snacking on junk food etc.)
Of course, an even greater use is to visualize the positive changes you want. Imagine 365 days of practising your instrument, 365 days of eating healthier.
