gone
A glimmer of light
I open my eyes
and you are gone
I never saw you leave
but inside
I just know
something is missing
I feel empty
but I know you’ll be back
by my side
not today
or tomorrow
but I’ll see you return
with a smile on your face
and then I’ll be alright
