"Sophie’s World" is one of the most interesting books I have ever read, which is a little surprising given that its subtitle is "A Novel about the History of Philosophy". Originally, I borrowed this from a friend in Belgium on their recommendation. I then spent several years looking for my own copy in bookstores. I finally found it maybe 6/7 years later. Everybody that I have lent this book to raves and wants to buy their own copy. Even if you have never had an interest in philosophy, the story of Sophie and her journey through the history of philosophy will definitely hold your attention.
